Different Types of Bank PO ExamsFollowings are the types of Bank PO Exams:

Exams Conducted By IBPS: A series of Common Written Examinations (CWEs) for Bank PO conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for 20 Public Sector banks.

Other Examinations conducted by IBPS are for Management Trainee / Clerk / Specialist Officer Posts in 20 Public Sector banks and for Officers and Office Assistants in 82 Regional Rural Banks.

Exams Conducted By SBI and SBI Associate Banks: Exam conducted by SBI and Its Associate banks for recruitment to the posts of Probationary Officer (PO).

Other Examinations conducted by SBI and SBI Associate banks are for Specialist Officer & Clerical Cadre.

Exams Conducted By RBI: RBI doesn’t conduct any exam for the post of PO. Although the Exams Conducted by RBI are for Assistant in Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Officers in Gr ‘B’ (General)-DR, Research Officers in Gr. ‘B’, Rajbhasha Officer in Grade ‘A’, Manager (Technical-Civil) in Gr. ‘B’ & for Others Posts.

Time to time as per requirement in concern banks & departments; IBPS, SBI & RBI announce the vacancy for eligible candidates, who fulfill the examinations criteria of participation.

Candidates should visit the concern organization website or read Employment News (Rojgar Samachar) & different newspapers to get current vacancies updates. Candidates are advised to read all the details published in the recruitment advertisement & then apply for those posts whose eligibility criteria suit them.
